Rose and Philip Taft founded Rose Taft Couture, Inc in 1963.

The late Rose and Philip Taft began their careers approximately 46 years ago as couturiers in an elegant gown salon in Long Island, New York.

With Rose as the designer and Philip with past production experience, they proved to be an immediate success.

Now after 46 years and three generations, Marcia & Melanie have committed themselves to carry on the tradition of designing and manufacturing the finest couture garments in the industry, well into the 21st century.
