Wow is it April already!

Spring is almost here, I made my first youtube video, life is pretty good. I spent a great deal of time with my family yesterday explaining my career path. That always goes well, one cousin suggested I watch ? some movie from the 70's so I can see what clothing looked like back then LOL. Bless her heart, I lived in the 70's she just doesn't remember. In any event, here are my listing for this week.

When Life Gets Me Down, Fashion Picks Me Up

I had the most amazing photo shoot with my model. "Y" is just full of energy, inquisitive, and generally fun to be around. She thinks I'm the coolest thing since sliced bread, and I see such an amazing future ahead of her. As usual, we laugh, we talk, laugh some more, and time has flown by. After our last shoot, I loaded the pictures onto my computer, then I deleted them from my card. Yep, you guessed it, my computer died, a quick painless death. Well painless for the computer, very painful for me as I spent the better part of the morning in mourning. Not ashamed to admit it, I cried, not boo hoo, boo hoo, but the Nancy Kerrigan, WHY WHY OH DEAR GOD WHY cry. Then I remembered, I download the picturesto Auctiva. I did the happy dance to purchase my new computer. Moral of the story?? Anyhoo, here are a few of the pictures from out last shoot.

I have gleefully swept out 2009, not because it was a happy year, because it's a year better left in the past. New year, new dawn, new me, new song. Fashion is my passion, the 80's were my love. The crazy clothes, the clubs, the music, did I mention the clothes LOL.  This week at Lady Days Vintage we have some great 80's fashions.

Gearing Up For The New Year

I've been working on the new face of Lady Days Vintage. I've narrowed it down to a lovely, lively, young model, and old ass me. While I still garner a whistle or two every now and then, I think the new face should be just that, a new face. I had the pleasure of working with several models over the last few months. However, the last one fits like a glove with my personality. She is energetic, creative, funny, reminds me of a younger me. Here are a few of her shots from last week.
